With the support of Municipality of Korca will be organized the first Korca International City Race

Race Details
1st Kor柠International City Race
1. Date: Sunday 26 Tetor 2008
2. Location: City of Kor柠(Shqip걩-Albania)
3. Distance: 5300 m on road, single lap.
4. Starting Place: Stadiumi Skenderbeu
5. Finish: Grand Hotel Palace
6. Starting Time: 10:30 a.m
7. Participation: On the race can participate athletes, veterans or citizens of all the ages and nationalities from all over the world.
8. Description of the itinerary: The start of the race will be held from the stadium of the city. The runners will cross the historic Boulevard of Republika with direction through Cinema Millennium. After, they will continue through the square where is placed the monument of Unknown Soldier, the most known symbol of our city, and the great cathedral. The itinerary will continue through the Factory of the famous Korca Beer and the runners also will pass the ‘Bratko Museum of Oriental Art’. They will pass across the Municipality Building, the great historic market and the modern business center ‘City Center’. The finish is at Grand Hotel. Through the itinerary are signals and police accompaniment.
9. Measure of Distance: The distance has been measured and certified by the Organizing Committee. Along the distance are marks every 1000 meters.
10. Medical Support: The Organizing Committee is responsible and will support every medical issue that may be necessary during and after the race. There are two doctors available and one ambulance that will follow the athletes during the race. The doctors and the ambulance will have direct comunication and total collaboration with the staf for the normal elaboration of the race, which is the main purpose of the Organizing Committee.
11. Security of the Participants : The Police of the Albanian State and the Municipality Police will lead and escort the runners with vehicles during the event in order to support security and accompaniment. Also there will be judges across the itinerary.
12. Water Stations: The water station is at the finshing line where bottles of 0.5 litres will be delivered under the total care of the Organizing Committee. All the participants that will use personal drinks are responsible for themselves.

14. Transport to the starting line: It will be done with vehicles of the Organizing Committee
15. Personal objects and bags: Personal objects and bags will be numbered and transported with sensitivity and care with vehicles under total responsibility to the finishing line by the Organizng Committee. The participants can take them after their race according to their numbers immediately.
16. Economic issues: The Organizing Committee can not cover any relative expenses of transport for individuals that do not have any official invitation. Nevertheless we offer to all participants subvention of their expenses during their stay at Kor柠by offering preferencial prices for accomodation and food to the hotels that support the event. The runners have no financial obligations to the Organizing Committee. The participation is free.

There are also prims in cash for the first six men and women. First 300euro, Second 200euro, Third 100euro, Fourth 50euro, Fifth 40euro, Sixth 30euro.
18. Presentation of the Itinerary: Under the care of the Organizing Committee, the runners can travel the itinerary course on Saturday 25/10/2008 with our transport vehicles.
19. Clarifications:
α) every issue that may be created and is not predicted by the present will be solved under strict decisions of the Organizing Committee.
β) the Organizing Committee has the right to change or modify any paragraph of this notification until the date before the race, in order to improve the conditions of the event. Nevertheless the purpose and the main character of the race can not be changed.
